No. 2 Buddhist cave inscription. Prakrit. This inscription shows nearly
pure Maurya characters, and is, if not the oldest of the series, certainly not later than
that of Rаjа Kрiшнa (ASWI). Under the arch over the doorway of cave No. 18. (Sen.)
