There is space for one akshara between da and na[м] in line 2. tu of pamаtu in the same line, though worn, is clear enough.
Sa-bhayakasa=sa-bhаryasya. Pamаtu in line 2 is the genitive of pamаta, Sanskrit pramаtрi (Childers). For the peculiar compound Buddha-pamаtu, compare Sa[м]ghala-samanasa in No. 11. I have not been able to trace this stone in the cellar of the Madras Government Museum and so cannot say whether it bears an image of the Buddha. (RCh)
