L.2 Buhler read [bhа]jаya sa-kumа[rаya]; S[iva]khaмda-;
deyadhaмma[м]; Khadasаtisa [|*] Jayaмtakasa achariyasa[putasa] 3. Damorakasa sisena Нaтakena nаgo kato (||)
and the last two phrases as "with respect to these (gifts) the minister
Khadasаti(Skandasvаti) was the superintendant of the work. The Nаga has been made by
Нaтaka (Nartaka) the pupil of Аchаrya [I]damoraka (Indramayуra) of the town of
Saмjayanti". Rapson (Cat. of Ind. coins) associate Щivaskandaщrи with prince and
read Vinhuka-дuтu-kulаnanda-Satakani. He associate Щiva-Skandanagaщrи with
Skandanagaщаtaka from Kanheri inscription (ASWI, V.86) and Щivaskandavarman from
Malavalli. Sircar (Succ. of Satavahanas) followed after Rapson but doubted if Banavasi =
Mallavalli.
