| The inscription is under another sitting figure of the Buddha in `Pralambapаdаsana' and 'Dharmachakramudrа' in the verandah of Cave No. 3. It measure 99 cm. x 10 cm. Letters 6.5 cm. x 4,5 cm. Characters: Brаhmи, 5th century A.D. Language - Sanskrit. Orthography: The letters show the resemblance with the letters of the inscription of Varаhadeva at Ajanta, cave no. 16. (ShG) |
