| The inscription is engraved on a small bas-relief dagoba on the right hand side-wall outside the verandah of the Chaitya. Cave No. 3. The inscription is distinctly cut but the rock is somewhat honeycombed, It measures 35 cm. x 14 cm. Letters 6.5 cm. x 3.5 cm. Characters: Brаhmи, 5th Century A.D. Language: Sanskrit.
