No. 11. Kanheri Buddhist tank inscription of the time of Vаsiштhиputra Щrи-Sаtakarнi. Sanskrit.

(Cave No. 5) The inscription is over two water-tanks on the path up the hill. The condition of the inscription is very bad due to water coming over on it in rainy season. Characters: Brаhmи, 2nd Century A.D. Language: Sanskrit. Orthography: The letters 'ka' and 'ra' are shown with a long vertical line, with a curve to the right. The letter 'ya' is shown by segmented or double curve. (ShG)
